Louis Tomlinson returned to Glasgow on April 27 at the OVO Hydro after a three-year hiatus following the huge success of his third solo studio album, "How Did I Get Here?" in January. Louis began this new chapter in Europe by performing 19 times throughout Europe before returning home seven more times to complete the EU/UK portion of the tour. Alex Spencer opened for the majority of the European performances before ADMT took over for the remaining ones. Pale Waves was selected to open for the duration of the UK tour.
A selection of his biggest hits and the most anticipated tracks from the latest album kicked off the performance. "Lemonade" and "On Fire" followed several of the major tracks from his second album, Faith in the Future, including "Written All Over Your Face," "Out of My System," and "Bigger Than Me." These songs were followed by slower, more emotional tracks.
The band began the second part of the performance with slowed down rendition of "Just Hold On," a song Tomlinson and Steve Aoki had previously worked on, after they had all reached the end of the question mark-shaped catwalk. "Lazy," "Sunflowers," and "Lucid" were the next songs from the new album. Louis continued with "Face The Music," "Silver Tongues," and "The Observer."
Louis gave an acoustic performance of "The Answer" and the hugely popular song "Miss You," which he has been doing every night of the tour, as an encore.
It's appropriate to assume that the shock factor was enormous when this song began because Louis usually performs at least one One Direction song during his performances, but he decided to concentrate only on his solo work for this specific show. "Palaces" was performed to cap off the entire performance.
You can still catch Louis Tomlinson as he continues his UK tour this week before wrapping up with a fantastic show at London's O2 Arena. Tomlinson's "How Did We Get Here" World Tour will go to North America and then Australia.
